City of Ashland Housing Authority
The City of Ashland, WI is located in northern Wisconsin, on the south shore of Lake Superior.
The City of Ashland Housing Authority has a wide array of housing programs available for people in need of affordable housing. Projects administered by the City of Ashland Housing Authority include: Bay Tower, Bay Ridge, Bay Haven, Bay Terrace, and 45 family homes. We also administer the Section 8 (rental assistance) program as well.
Mission
To provide safe, decent, affordable, accessible and sanitary housing for low income individuals and families while managing resources efficiently. The PHA is to promote an environment free from discrimination while supporting autonomous lifestyles for all tenants.
Office Hours
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Ashland Housing Authority Office is closed to the public
However, we are STILL working.
Staff is available by phone or email between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.
Board Meetings
The City of Ashland Housing Authority (AHA) conducts monthly Board of Commissioners meetings. All meetings are open to the public with exceptions as allowed under Wisconsin State Statute 19, Subchapter V. The Board is currently conducting meetings remotely until further notice. All meeting agendas are posted at the Ashland City Hall and at each of the multi-family buildings (locations listed on this website).
Participation is available by video and phone. Anyone is welcome to attend any open portion of these meetings.
